Grow stunning summer displays with Mr Fothergills Chaters Double Mixed Hollyhock Seeds. These seeds produce tall, stately plants bearing masses of fully double, colourful blooms. - Plant in March to July, Flowering period June to August
- Sow indoors for surest results, 0.5cm (1/4″) deep, in trays of compost. Water well and place in a cold frame, unheated greenhouse or on a warm kitchen window sill. Keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 21-28 days.
- Transplant seedlings individually when large enough to handle to 8cm (3″) pots. (Always handle by a leaf, never by the stem.) Gradually accustom young plants to outside conditions before planting out 60cm (2′) apart.
