Features and benefits

Each roll is 7.3 metres (24ft) long x 90mm wide. Thickness generally 5 to 8mm. Multiple layers can be wound around the pipe(s) for additional insulation. This is an environmentally friendly alternative to typical polythene foam pipe insulation. Used for general pipe insulation to give frost protection. Also to help keep heat inside the pipe which helps to save energy and prevent overheating of adjoining spaces. Construction – recycled jute and other fibres needled into a polythene membrane Fiber composition – approx. 50% natural jute fibres , 50% recycled wool / nylon fibres. This product passes test for flammability to BS4790, with a low radius of effects of ignition. Simply this means that this product is not highly flammable, but it will burn is exposed to an existing fire. As this product is partially made from recycled wool, the colour may vary slightly from roll to roll (does not affect the quality of insulation).
