Solvent Weld Waste Pipe & fittings require solvent cement applied evenly to both surfaces of a joint which creates a water tight and unbreakable join. Insert the Solvent Weld Waste Pipe fully into the socket depth of the elbows or joines and remove any surplus cement with a cloth. Allow five minutes to set before handling and twelve hours before testing the system.
It is recommended that externally installed ABS waste systems are protected against prolonged exposure to sunlight with exterior gloss paint.
