Save time, money and plastic with this refill for Ronseal’s One Coat Shed & Fence Protection in Red Cedar. The 950ml pouch makes up 5 litres of One Coat when mixed with water – just follow the simple instructions on the pack. Don’t waste more time than you need painting your shed and fence – One Coat’s easy to use, it can be brushed or sprayed on and it’ll stand up to rain, frost, snow and sun, meaning you’ll get lasting colour and protection for 2 years.

- Surface Preparation – Before you start, wait for a warm, dry day (above 10c). Clean the wood with a stiff brush. If your fence hasn’t been treated before, clean it with either a pressure washer or a suitable fence cleaner, then let the wood dry before painting. Cover anything you don’t want to get stain on. To check you’re happy with the colour, find a small hidden patch of wood to test on. You’ll need more coats for contrasting colour changes. If you’re using this pouch to refill your ready mix one coat, the colour may look different when it’s wet. But don’t worry, it’ll look the same when it dries.
- Instructions for Use – To mix, pour the pouch into a bucket. Fill the pouch with water, reseal & shake. Pouch holds 1 litre. Pour the pouch of water into the bucket. Mix well for 1 minute. For the first pour, add water gradually like making a cake. Add 3 more pouches of water by repeating each step, 3 times. Scrape bottom of bucket when mixing between pours. If you’re using a brush, get lots of stain on your brush, then brush on a thick coat. Brush in any drips. Wipe any drips off plants or paving with soapy water before it dries. If you’re using a sprayer, ensure it’s not too windy. Mix the stain in a bucket and pour into the tank, Pump it up and start spraying. Use long, seeping, horizontal arm movements and move along the full width of the panel. Drop down and do the same again, overlapping by about half. Clean any overspray with soapy water before it dries.
