Description
The IKOpro Synthaprufe Original is a high performance liquid damp proofing emulsion. Composed with a synthetic rubber latex, it creates a waterproof and vapour-resistant elastomeric membrane. With exceptional flexibility and resistance to cracking (even at low temperatures), you can rely on Synthaprufe to remain effective throughout the life of your building.

Application Instructions
- Installation must be in accordance with the relevant requirements of CP 102: 1973, Section 2, or BS 8102: 2009 and the manufacturer’s application instructions
- New concrete, screeds or renderings should have a trowelled, lightly tamped or brushed finish, and be free from defects
- Brickwork, block work or masonry should be flush pointed or finished with a sand/cement render
- The product should be applied by brush in a single stroke to concrete floors and walls at, above or below ground level
- Horizontal applications must be carried a minimum of 150mm up all walls and be joined to the existing damp-proof course
- Where no DPC is present, the treatment should be extended above the finished floor level
