An innovative, mould-resistant paint, Rust-Oleum Guardian Interior Wood Paint is ideal for humid and poorly ventilated interiors such as kitchens, bathrooms, utilities and other high-moisture areas. Ultra durable and easy-to-apply, the specialist formula is specifically designed to protect skirting boards, doors, frames, coving and more against fungal degradation. Ensure that your surface is clean, dry, sound and free from any contamination such as dirt, oil, wax, mould and mildew before painting. Treat any existing mould with a proprietary mould killer and block any remaining mould stains with an appropriate primer.

- Surface Preparation – Ensure surface is clean, dry, sound and free from any surface contamination such as dirt, oil, wax, mould and mildew. Remove any loose or flaking paint back to a firm edge. Treat any knots or resinous timber with an appropriate primer. If wax has been used clean the surface thoroughly with white spirit. We recommend that bare wood should be sanded before painting. Treat any existing mould with a proprietary mould killer and remover in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions ensuring the surface is completely dry before painting. Block any remaining mould stains with an appropriate primer.
- Instructions for Use – Stir thoroughly prior to use. The product may be applied by brush, roller or electric paint sprayer. If applying by brush, apply evenly following the grain of the wood. If rollering, use a short nap mohair roller. If spraying, paint should be diluted with water by 10-20% as required. Two coats recommended.
